The included files, "GU11EAX.EA2" and "GU11EAX.AUP", are two versions of an Environmental Audio preset recommended for use with GeneralUser GS when playing MIDI files.  "GU11EAX.EA2" is for the Sound Blaster Live!, and "GU11EAX.AUP" is for the Sound Blaster Audigy.  To use it, open up the Environmental Audio control panel, and click the "Import Environment" button.  Select "GU11EAX.???" from the folder to which you extracted it, and click "Open".  "GeneralUser GS 1.1 EAX" should now appear in your list of EAX presets.  Please select this preset when playing MIDI files for best compatibility with GeneralUser GS and Roland GS Reverb/Chorus specifications.
