Setfont
Setfont is my own contribution to font editing tools for the PCW, CPC and Spectrum +3. (It does not support the PcW16, which didn't exist at the time I wrote it; and since I never had a CPC, the CPC support is less than thoroughly tested).
SETFONT.COM itself is a command-line utility that loads or saves fonts in a variety of formats:
- Raw 2k or 4k font dump (corresponding to the .UDG files used by Letafont).
- +3DOS 768-byte fonts.
- 8×16 fonts used by the PRINTIT utility
- Fonts embedded in the startup file (.EMS or .EMT)
- Fonts used by the Stop Press or MasterPaint desk top publishing programs.
- Self-loading .COM files.
The package also contains ALTER (a font editor that works on the above systems) and SCRCHED (an editor for the LocoScript 2/3 screen font held in SCRCHAR.JOY).
I also created a set of sample fonts for SETFONT; originally this was distributed separately, but some PD libraries packaged the two together, so I am also listing them on this page.

All the fonts except Rounded include an 8×8 size for the PCW and CPC, and an 8×5 size for the Spectrum +3.
